La Fiocco, Bucks County's period instrument ensemble, is presenting a special limited-seating benefit concert on September 29, 2013. We will be performing at a historic barn in Tinicum Township, PA, a few minutes' drive from Point Pleasant, PA, and the Delaware River. Meet our Board and donors, have some wonderful refreshments, and hear some great music. We will also be discussing our programming and special projects for 2014.

Antonio Arosemena & Lewis R. Baratz, recorder; Joseph Hill, countertenor; Rebecca Stuhr, baroque flute; Agnes Simkens, baroque violin; Lynn Fergusson, viola da gamba; John Orluk Lacome, lute; and Benjamin Berman, harpsichord. La Fiocco** presents:  Shakespeare's London in Music & Song.  Join us for this extravaganza of rarely-performed music from the Age of Shakespeare.  Artistic Director Lewis R. Baratz has assembled an all-star cast of period instrument musicians who will be featured in the "Broken Consort" Lessons of Thomas Morley, a composer associated with Shakespeare and Elizabeth I.  Young artists Nicole Renna (Temple University) and Samuel Cox (Princeton University) will perform songs from the plays.  Rare instruments such as the cittern, bandora, and renaissance guitar will be featured as well.
