The Collegium Musicum, Daniel Spratlan, conductor, presents music of two great masters of the late Renaissance: Carlo Gesualdo and Orlande de Lassus.

Friday, May 23, 2014, 8:30 PM at Christ Church, 5 Paterson Street, New Brunswick, NJ.
FREE admission.

Formerly the Rutgers University Collegium Musicum, this is the 22-voice Renaissance choir's first performance as an independent ensemble. The program will feature two contrasting major works by Lassus:  The chromatic Prophetiae Sybillarum and Missa osculetur me for double choir.  The program also features madrigals of Gesualdo and motets of Palestrina and Lassus.

La Fiocco** will be performing opening the acclaimed Raritan River Music concert series on Saturday, May 7, 2016, 7:30PM at the historical Prallsville Mills, 22 Risler Street, Stockton, New Jersey.  

The program is entitled Colonists and Rebels:  Music of New Jersey and Pennsylvania from Colonial and Federal America.   Advance tickets $21; $14 for students and seniors.  Tickets at the door, if available $25; $15 for students and seniors.  Discount subscriptions are available.

Le Triomphe de l'amour**  presents a concert of music for two harpsichords at the Unitarian Church of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road, in Princeton, New Jersey, Saturday, May 7, 8PM.  Harpsichordists Janet Palumbo and Minju Lee will perform harpsichord duets by Mozart, Charles Burney, and Gaspard Le Roux.  Solo harpsichord music by J.S. Bach, Handel, and Froberger will also be included on the program and John Burkhalter, recorder, will join the duo to perform music by Vivaldi and Telemann.

Viola da Gamba Concert: Renowned performer and teacher Mary Springfels, is joined by Donna Fournier and Rebecca Humphrey in a concert of sublime music for 3 viols. Including works by Hume, Kuhnel, Nicolai, Sainte-Colombe, and Rameau.
