The Delaware River Consort* and the La Spirita Viol Consort* bring you a program of Renaissance music for voices and viols welcoming the return of Spring. Music of Arcadelt, Bennet, Byrd, Cornish, Desprez, Dowland, Jannequin, Le Jeune, Lasso, Marenzio, Melville, Morley, Purcell, Sweelinck, & Weelkes.

Salon 33 is an intimate venue located in Princeton, New Jersey. You may arrive at 7 PM for a potluck meal (please bring an appetizer, main, side, or dessert), or just come when the music starts at 8 PM. There is no formal charge for admission, but a donation for the performers will be graciously appreciated. $20 is suggested.

With guest artist cornetto virtuoso Nathaniel Cox; Allen Hamrick, recorder & dulcian; Benjamin Bernard, sackbut; Claire Bermingham Smith & Dan McCarthy, baroque violins; Vivian Barton Dozor, baroque; cello & viola da gamba, with a rich continuo section of lutes, 3 theorbos, baroque guitar, harpsichord, & spinetta.  Lewis R. Recorder players of all levels are invited to the Highland Park Recorder Society's* Recorder Playing Session on Monday, April 3 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Parlor room of the Reformed Church of Highland Park, NJ, 19 South Second Avenue in Highland Park. There is free parking in back of the church which may be accessed via Magnolia Street. ADA handicapped accessible.  

This month's guest conductor is Deborah Booth, recorder player and baroque flutist.  Visit Deborah's website at flute-recorder-deborahbooth.com.

Other sessions this season open to all recorder players will be held on May 1 (John Burkhalter) and June 5 (Maestro Robert Butts).
